Coder
The Coder agent acts as an engineer, helping your team with development. Tasks of type Task, Bug, and Improvement can be assigned to the Coder agent from the task details modal: menu > Assign Coder. Just point it at which repositories it should work against, and it will implement the task independently.
See Repositories & Integrations for how to connect your repositories.
The Coder clones your repositories from the configured development branch and creates a new branch for the implementation (named after the task). It implements based on the task's details, subtasks, any attached image (Coder Pro only), and comments.
Comments are especially important for the Coder, since you can steer its work by adding context through them. For example, if you run the Coder once, review the implementation, and decide it needs adjustments, you can comment on the task and reassign it to the Coder. The next run will pick up the same branch, read the comments, notice there's already a previous implementation, and only do the additional work needed.
The Coder is a generative AI agent, and its output can contain mistakes — a human review after implementation finishes is essential.
